• Αll metallic parts are protected iron corrosion with electrolytically plated metal alloys

Plastic parts
• Αll plastic parts have grey color and are made of flame retardant polycarbonate
• Color: Near RAL 7032

Base
• Plastic, fixed with screws on the back-mount frame holder through which it is also grounded
• Carries 20 rounded corner holes of 10 mm diameter on its side walls
• Incoming and outgoing wires are configured so as to allow the easy insertion of test, disconnecting and protection plugs

Cross-connection Modules
• Plastic from Polycarbonate, button on the plastic base each one independently from the others
• Carry double conduits to guide wires to the connecting pins
• The plastic covers of the conduits are independent to the ones of the connecting pins array so that the array can be removed without having to remove the wires from the conduits

Pins
• IDC type made from silver plated, 7 metals copper alloy
• Copper wires of 9,4-0,8 mm diameter
• Possibility of simultaneous connection of 2 wires (in parallel)
• Possibility to plug in overvoltage protection devices

Electrical Characteristics
• Insulation resistance >= 50.000 Mohms between any end point and all the other end points short-circuited with the ground (test voltage 500 V DC)
• Dielectric strength of insulating parts: at least 2 kV DC
• Current flow resistance >= 5 mohms with a DC test current of 10 mA
• Crosstalk attenuation between adjacent pairs: at least 130 dB at 1000 ΗΖ with terminating resistance of 600 Ohms
